The recent matchup between North Carolina State University (NCSU) and the University of North Carolina (UNC) ice hockey teams was a highly anticipated event for many local hockey fans, and it did not disappoint.

Over 24,000 fans packed Carter-Finley Football Stadium, the home of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes for the recent Stadium Series game, to watch the Wolfpack dominate the Tar Heels with a final score of 7-3.
The Wolfpack started the game strong, taking a 2-1 lead early in the first period. UNC struck first, but NCSU continued to dominate throughout the game, with consistent scoring and solid defensive plays.
