Welcome to Santa Monica – where Route 66 drops you into the Pacific Ocean at the “End of the Trail.” We stopped in for a brief visit on our way to the Getty Villa and snapped a couple of quick pictures. This is on my list of places to return to and spend a little more time. A walk through a park and on the pier wasn’t long enough.
