When I think about great shows I’ve seen I always reference the time I saw Nickel Creek at Memorial Auditorium (maybe 2006?). Chris Thile was a member of the now defunct Nickel Creek so my expectations were extremely high knowing he was now lead singer and mandolinist for the Punch Brothers. I was not disappointed. They put on a great show. I would love to see them again in longer set but what we saw was nothing short of impressive.
