Since 2001, the local non-profit organization Band Together has been connecting the community one concert after another.  For this year’s event, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit headlined the evening to a sold-out crowd with support from opening acts Durand Jones and Aaron Lee Tasjan who warmed fans at Red Hat Amphitheatre.
Isbell, now nearly a 20-plus year road veteran, hit the stage with a solo career-spanning set list highlighting songs from the album Weathervane released earlier this year.
This year’s fundraiser included a VIP section with oysters, pizza, beverages, and a silent auction that, in total, raised over one million dollars for charities involved in the Triangle Housing Accessibility Fund.
