Downtown Raleigh turned red for the Carolina Hurricanes Championship Parade, and we were right in the middle of it near the State Capitol. Thousands of Caniacs packed the streets to cheer on the team, celebrate the championship and welcome the Cup back to Raleigh. It was loud, joyful and exactly the kind of day this hockey town deserved.
