The Cookie People have been in business since 2008 at the North Carolina Farmers Market. They just recently added a store in Mission Valley located at 2237 Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh. They are open for takeout Thursday – Sunday, 11 am – 4 pm. You will find a retro feeling when you walk in with the red and black tiles. Make sure to check out the vintage cookie jars. So cool!
We stopped by last week and found some really great cookies along with some wonderful coffee and ice cream. They keep their things local so you will find Homeland Ice Cream, Pine State Coffee, and Benelux. Some of our very favorites. There were so many different cookies it was hard to choose but here is what we tried.
Mexican Chocolate – Spicy but not too hot. Super flavorful.
Molasses – This was her grandmother’s recipe and it is so good! It was my favorite by far.
Sugar cookie with Sprinkles – What a great sugar cookie. Every kid at heart needs one of these.
Lemonade – This one was so good if you are a lover of lemon. It is a little more cake consistency than cookie IMO.
