This week we got to hear about Thrive NC and the upcoming event. Thrive NC helps to address food system issues in our community. The event is presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Ticket sales support lots of local organizations. We always love a food event for a great cause.
Organizations you will be supporting:

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for over 35 years.
NC Future Farmers of America, a youth organization within agricultural education that prepares students for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through a wide range of agricultural education activities.
Alliance Medical Ministry, an organization that provides comprehensive, compassionate and affordable healthcare to working, uninsured adults in Wake County.
Band Together (benefitting Inter-Faith Food Shuttle), a program that uses live music as a platform for social change and has donated over $9 million to benefit the Triangle community since 2001.
