We went to check out a’Verde Cocina and Tequila over in Cary Crossroads, The concept is a Mexican restaurant with fresh, vibrant, delicious, and fun flavors. The chef is Top Chef Katsuji Tanabe so you know it is going to be great.
They are now open for brunch. Here is what we had to eat:
- Churro French Toast –Â Dusted in fruity pebbles, maple syrup, chantilly cream, and berries.
- Chorizo Benedict –Â Buttery muffin, chorizo, poached eggs, chipotle hollandaise
- Guacamole –Â Ripe, California avocados, pepitas and cotija,
Tanner opted for a bowl of Fruity Pebbles and he loved it!
Brunch did not disappoint. It was really good. I really enjoyed my french toast but the guacamole was the show stopper. It was so fresh and the warm chips served with it were delicious. If you are looking for a spot to grab brunch, check out a’Verde Cocina and Tequila.
