Fun times at the Festival! Today was a great day at the culinary arts village. As always it was a party in the village. With drinks flowing and food on the grill, there was something for everyone to enjoy. You also never know who you will run in to.
I got to chat with John T. Edge of Southern Foodways Alliance which documents, studies, and explores the diverse food cultures of the changing American South. In case you wondering they have memberships and you even get a cool membership card (make sure to check out the pictures below).
We also got to talk with Sarah from Foster’s Market in Durham. We were able to enjoy some of her wonderful bread pudding. It was delicious.
Our friends from New Belgium let us sample La Folie. This is a great sour and if you haven’t had a chance to check it out, make sure you grab some at one of the local beer stores.
Finally, we bumped into some more of our friends from Raleigh, which always makes for a great time.
