Not at all an original idea but stolen from Pinterest and everywhere else we like to share. Definitely something fun to try on a rainy day before planning to go out to the Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade. It’s not a pancake printer – but it will work.
The concept is simple – two ingredients Pillsbury (or your store brand of choice) Cinnamon Rolls and a waffle iron. Insert pre-made rolls into waffle iron and in about 2 minutes you have a crunchy Cinnabon Waffle – if you upgraded for the Cream Cheese Icing you can add that or I guess traditional syrup will work.
This made an attractive waffle but I think I would have preferred either a regular waffle or a regular cinnamon roll. It is a fun and easy recipe but one that I think is a little over-hyped for the number of times I’ve seen it online. If you are looking for something quick and easy and don’t have time to make regular waffles it isn’t bad.
