If you have walked into your local beer shop lately you will see lots of holiday beers to try. We did a pick-a-mix 6-pack with holiday-themed beverages to sample. There are lots of fun drinks to try.
Prairie Seasick Crocodile – An ale with cranberries, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Abomination Brewing Company Fog Nog – Double Dry Hopped Double India Pale Ale with Lactose & Spices.
Southern Tier Frosted Sugar Cookie – An Ale that is full of soft and airy vanilla and cake notes, iced to perfection. If you have a sweet tooth this one is for you.
Sycamore Christmas Cookie – They put actual sugar cookies in the mash!
Westbrook Santa Claw – This is a Hazy Holiday New England-style IPA.
NODA Hoppy Holidays – Citrus hops like an orange in your stocking.
If you love a sour you must try the Seasick Crocodile. It is so good. The flavors of ginger and nutmeg are amazing. If you love sweets try the Frosted Sugar Cookie and Christmas Cookie. The Fog Nog is one of my favorites. It is really different but I loved the lactose with the spices.
