LEO Visualization

Interested in what is flying overhead? Maybe curious about satellites or space debris? Maybe you want to find a specific object that is in low earth orbit? This is the site for you. LEO Labs tracks over 19,000 objects in space and shows them as they move around the earth on this map.

Worth noting that the first satellite in space (Sputnik 1) was launched in 1957. So this mass of flying objects is very new to our planet. Everything in orbit got there in the last 65 years. And while you may think that curve has gone up over time it hasn’t – check out the number of satellites by year launched into space.
