On this day 35 years ago Elvis Presley died on his toilet from heart failure associated with substance abuse. He would have been 77. Today a plaster bust of the King sits on top of my bookshelves in my office quietly watching over my work week and guarding my old name tags. There really isn’t much to tell but I thought it might be fun to share the office guardian on this day when so many are remembering the events surrounding Elvis’ death.
