Village Deli started in 1996 in the Village District. Their concept is all about offering hearty, homemade foods in a rustic and cozy atmosphere. They want people to feel welcome and well-fed!
This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch. You can call ahead and grab a meal to go. They have great sandwiches and amazing soups. They have one of my favorite French Onion soups! Last time I visited I had the steak gyro. The gyro is sliced sirloin steak, grilled with greek seasonings, served on a pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, feta cheese, and homemade tzatziki sauce. It was so yummy! Also if you don’t want to cook dinner you can grab a plated dinner option on the way home from work.
