We got to grab dinner tonight at Tonbo Ramen. It is located at 311South Wilmington Street.
We decided to eat in the Izakaya Bar which offers more than just ramen. We ordered lots of different small plates to share. Here is what we had to eat:
Beef Tataki served with ponzu and Warm Cauliflower Salad served with a miso dressing and bonito flakes.
Pork Belly Buns served with pickled vegetables, herbs and hoisin sauce.
Karaage which is chicken marinated in soy and fried crispy.
Petite Lamp Chops marinated and served with seven spices.
Everything was delicious! My favorite was the cauliflower salad. It was a sweet and savory mixture. So good. I would recommend Tonbo if you are looking for small plates with an Asian flair. Click here for more information about Tonbo.
The restaurant is in a space that was once a dentist office. This door original to the building and now serves as a reminder of the previous tenant.
