The Rainbow Luncheonette has opened this week. They are a short-order country-style open kitchen located at 911 N West St. It is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. This restaurant is brought to you by the people behind the Cardinal and the Atlantic Lounge.
I loved the decor! Did someone say rainbow tile floors? And a neon toaster? The lunch counter is awesome and the food is as well.
Here is what we had to eat:
- Fried Chicken Sandwich with perfectly seasoned fries. The sando was served with lettuce, tomato, red onion, red pickle, and mayo.
- The Daily Special – Country Fried Steak, with mashed potatoes and collards.
