Is PizzeRizzo a place I would highly recommend you visit on your next trip to Walt Disney World? Yes. But only because it will soon live only in your memories as the Muppet’s Courtyard in Hollywood Studios makes way for a new Monsters Inc. Land. The food is solid and on the upside the line is never long. Serving a selection of pizza, subs, and an antipasto salad the food is nothing to write about. The theming of the restaurant is great and the personality of the Muppets shines through everywhere you look with lots of in your face jokes and subtle references.
On the second story has a banquet hall that is a very fun and unique spot to relax and enjoy your meal and maybe catch up on an email or two.
Just outside the hall is a sign that has what might be the best easter egg in all of Walt Disney World. A hidden reference to Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas if you look closely you’ll see the previous event in the felt board.
It is a sad reference and makes this goodbye even more difficult. Emmet Otter may be gone from the parks for good.
