We dropped into St. Roch this weekend and were reminded that they have a nightly happy hour special of a 1/2 dozen shucker’s choice raw oysters for $9 from 4-6PM and all day Tuesday. Definitely worth a quick stop. The mignonette is an amazing add-on and the fried saltines really round this out whether you are looking for an appetizer stop or a full meal.
We also had the Narragansett Lager (the Killer Miller has been retired) – not a beer I was familiar with but was very complimentary to the oysters. Great combo and one that really won’t break the bank in downtown Raleigh.
