How to make Crock-pot Candied Pecans

I am always looking for good and EASY. This recipe is the perfect combination of both. If you are looking for something easy to make that tastes gourmet, try this recipe out.

Crock-pot Candied Pecans


  • 3 cups Pecans
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (Melted & Cooled)
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg (Optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Powedered Ginger (Optional)
  • Cooking Spray


Step 1
Spray your crock-pot with the cooking spray.
Step 2
Add the egg white to your slow cooker, and beat with a fork until frothy.
Step 3
Add everything but the nuts, and stir until you have a thick, syrup.
Step 4
Add the nuts, gently stir to coat, and cook on low for two and a half hours.
Step 5
Stir the nuts every hour ensure they cook evenly.
Step 6
When they are done cooking place the nuts evenly on a silpat mat and allow them to cool.

Once they are done cooling place them in an air tight container so you can enjoy them!  Any nuts should work but we enjoyed pecans.
