Howdy Homemade Ice Cream opened its doors in Cary this weekend. We stopped by to get the scoop! The new store is located at 370 South Walker Street, right behind the public library in downtown Cary.
For those who are unfamiliar with Howdy here’s a bit about them:
Every treat is made with a smile. Howdy Homemade Ice Cream creates jobs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They are about two things: amazing ice cream served by amazing people.
When you stop by the store you will be greeted by some friendly staff and a beautiful bright space. They have a menu full of flavors. Each week they will have a specialty flavor. I opted for a scoop of the Cookie Nom’ster which was a blue version of cookies and cream. It was so yummy! If you want you can add some fun toppings into the mix. They also have some allergy-friendly options on the menu.
