So I know I am a little late to the party. We finally got to try the new Popeye’s fried chicken sandwich. We tried to go a couple of times when it first came out but the line was entirely too long and I refuse to wait for a fast-food fried chicken sandwich. When it was first introduced the sandwich was so popular it sold out in two weeks. It was such a success that they decided to add it back to the menu permanently.
Here is the rundown. The sandwich is an all-white-meat chicken breast fillet They marinate it in Louisiana seasonings and coat it in buttermilk and serve it with pickles and mayo on a brioche bun. Ya’ll this sandwich was so good.
