Chef Vivian Howard owns the Chef & the Farmer restaurant in Kinston, North Carolina. She also has a following thanks to her television show on PBS, A Chef’s Life. This week she will travel to the Triangle for a Meet the Chef event at the Durham Museum of Life and Science.
Guests will enjoy a reception with wine and light hors d’oeuvres. There will also be an opportunity for Q & A. Attendees will receive a signed copy of Chef Howard’s new cookbook upon the release in October. Your ticket will also get you into the sold out Science of Eats event. The Science of Eats event is described as sweet, sour, and science together for one grand night of eating and exploration. There will be only 80 tickets sold to the Meet the Chef event so it should be a really nice experience for fans of Chef Vivian Howard. Tickets can be purchased here and money raised from this event benefits the Museum’s conservation and education initiatives.
