BLOTTO officially opened its doors on June 14, 2025, as part of the redeveloped strip mall at 1601 New Bern Ave. It’s locally owned by Jennifer and Ryan Kolarov (of Neuse River Brewing fame) alongside Carl Boyajian. We stopped by to check it i out and it is the perfect neighborhood bar.
If you were like me and wondered what does Blotto mean… it is the British Slang for tipsy. The space is fun with lots of greenry. They even have outdoor seating.
Blotto has a nice drink menu without being too overly complicated.
- Drafts & Ciders: Modelo, Guinness, local Neuse River Brewing IPA, Bold Rock
- Bottles & Cans: Bud, Miller, SweetWater, Sierra Nevada
- Wines: Sparkling, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, rosé, Cabernet
- Spirits: a selection of vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, tequila, classic liqueurs
