We decided to take the Lego Haunted Mansion 31167 and build a small trick-or-treating scene. Placing the set on the back end of a standard MILS plate we built a small sidewalk for the costumed children to approach the house. The goal was to make the yard appear unkept and to give the house more depth than the set has alone. The build is from the original set design.
This set has some great minifigures a Glowing Ghost, a Skeleton, a Werewolf (similar to CMF Series 14), a Frankenstein Monster (similar to CMF Series 4), and a Lady Vampire.
This is a great set and one that you can incorporate into a lot settings. I plan to build out from this in the future and grow a small Halloween area in my larger display.
