It is day nine and we’re enjoying a Donkey Sauce IPA from Deep River Brewing in Clayton. This is a great New England style IPA with probably the most fun label. At 7.5% ABV / 70 IBU it is a hoppy full flavored beer. A very enjoyable beer from Johnston County’s first legal brewery.
New England Style IPA with a hazy straw colored appearance. Packed with Mosaic, Citra, Centennial and several other classified hops give this beer a huge fruity bite with subtle bitterness. This beer has been known to make people do the donkey sauce shuffle after only one sip.
