Crock-pot Candied Pecans
Ingredients
- 3 cups Pecans
- 1 Egg White
- 1 tablespoon Butter (Melted & Cooled)
- 1 tablespoon Water
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg (Optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon Powedered Ginger (Optional)
- Cooking Spray
Directions
Step 1 | |
Spray your crock-pot with the cooking spray. | |

Add the egg white to your slow cooker, and beat with a fork until frothy. | |
Step 3 | |
Add everything but the nuts, and stir until you have a thick, syrup. | |
Step 4 | |
Add the nuts, gently stir to coat, and cook on low for two and a half hours. | |
Step 5 | |
Stir the nuts every hour ensure they cook evenly. | |
Step 6 | |
When they are done cooking place the nuts evenly on a silpat mat and allow them to cool. |
