Crock-pot Candied Pecans

Crock-pot Candied Pecans


  • 3 cups Pecans
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (Melted & Cooled)
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg (Optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Powedered Ginger (Optional)
  • Cooking Spray


Step 1
Spray your crock-pot with the cooking spray.
Step 2
Add the egg white to your slow cooker, and beat with a fork until frothy.
Step 3
Add everything but the nuts, and stir until you have a thick, syrup.
Step 4
Add the nuts, gently stir to coat, and cook on low for two and a half hours.
Step 5
Stir the nuts every hour ensure they cook evenly.
Step 6
When they are done cooking place the nuts evenly on a silpat mat and allow them to cool.
