We stopped by the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences to visit the Dueling Dinosaurs Exhibit. The exhibit has a fossil containing two dinos that were found together.
In this exhibit, you get to go behind the scenes to try and figure out how they found these two dinos together. You get to see the real working paleontology lab You will see the fossils that are being studied and talk to the research team directly. Tanner even got to touch a real Triceratops’ horn. Very cool.
Things to know if you are going to visit, you need to get tickets ahead of time. They are free but they want to make sure you have a reservation to help manage the crowds. To get tickets visit the website here.
