This weekend Escazu Chocolate turned eight. To celebrate this anniversary they had a little party with an ice cream bar. The ice cream bar included house made toppings that were delicious. I tried their banana coconut ice cream topped with hot chocolate and peanut butter pieces and a dash of sea salt. Anthony was a bit more adventurous and tried the fruity pebbles ice cream. That is correct, like the cereal. Both were good and made me want to go back again for ice cream.
The coolest part of this anniversary party? Twenty percent of the proceeds went back to the Interfaith Food Shuttle. I am all about a party with a cause. Happy Anniversary to Escazu Chocolate. Here is to many more years of great chocolate and ice cream in Raleigh.
