TRIANGLE BLVD ANNOUNCES DATE FOR TRIANGLE RESTAURANT WEEK WINTER EDITION

Bi-annual Event to Run January 25th  – January 31st , 2016
Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Apex, Morrisville, Clayton, Cary, Pittsboro N.C.—January 13, 2016—

The annual Triangle Restaurant Week winter event, is set to run the week of January 25- 31st, 2016. During the event, participating restaurants within Raleigh, Cary,Chapel Hill, Durham and surrounding areas will offer a special, 3-course prix fixe lunch menu ($15) and/or 3-course prix fixe dinner menu ($20, $25, $30) each day they are open.

“This winter’s Triangle Restaurant Week is going to be another great event that will celebrate the culinary excellence of the Triangle,” said Kelly Stewart, Program Manager for Triangle Restaurant Week. “We are very excited to announce the addition of several new restaurants for 2016.”

Since the inaugural event, Triangle Restaurant Week has grown to reach over 1.2 million residents and featured more than 75 of the region’s eateries, generating over $500k in additional revenue to the area’s restaurants.

During the largest foodie event in the South East, patrons will have the option of special, 3-course lunch offerings at $15 or 3-course dinner menus at $20, $25 or $30, varying by location.

This winter’s event will spotlight additions from hotel restaurants including The Fairview Dining Room at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.

The Fairview Dining Room Executive Chef Jason Cunningham expressed his excitement about participating in Triangle Restaurant Week, “Being a part of the unique, burgeoning culinary scene in the Triangle is a humbling experience. There are so many great places to try and Triangle Restaurant Week creates a fun opportunity for our community to experience more of what it has to offer, The executive culinary team has been hard at work preparing an exceptional three-course-menu offering for both lunch and dinner. We invite food enthusiasts across the Triangle to join us for a robust culinary adventure and sample a delicious part of what we have to offer, including seasonal twists on classic, southern cuisine.”
