We got to check out Raleigh’s Beer Garden a couple of weeks ago It is a great place to grab a beer, with over 300 beers on tap there is something for everyone. A few things that are helpful to know before heading out to the Beer Garden:
- Download the app Tap Hunter. [iOS/Android] Because there is such an extensive beer list that is constantly changing, they do not have a printed beer list. In order to see all the beers available you need to download the app. It took us a while to download the app and verify our email address. If you do this before leaving the house, it will save you some time and allow you to grab a beer faster.
- It is very popular. When we checked in with the hostess there was an hour and a half wait for a table. You can go to the patio or go directly to the bar for first come first serve seating. This worked out better and we did not have to wait long for a table.
- Order the pretzels. My only regret is that we did not order any food. The pretzels looked awesome. I will definitely have to order them next time we go back. Has anyone tried them yet? Are they as awesome as they look?
Overall the Beer Garden was great. I loved that they had over 300 taps on draft. We got to try some great Southern Tier beers. Whoever did the decor for the place did a great job (Make sure to check out the pics. Did I mention there is a huge tree in the bar?). Make sure to allow some time because it is so popular it is busy.
