Our next California stop was Venice Beach / Muscle Beach. It’s famous and well-documented. For what it is worth you can probably leave it there. I think Cara wanted to go to Muscle Beach to see the muscular guys in speedos – we saw half of that and maybe five times the age that is appropriate for any of that. I spared us all – I didn’t take any pictures of him.
The place is eclectic and fun but with a dark seedy element that is highlighted by spending your morning in Santa Monica. I would go back but I found this really cool beach cam that means I may not have to.
