Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom or “Beta Test Batuu” is unbelievable in some areas and a little lacking in others. One area that is amazing and has stood the test of time is the Avatar Flight of Passage Ride. While the line is long and the ride itself can shake you up a bit the queue is one of the more impressive slow hikes through an attraction.
The show building like most at Disney is very well hidden and as you snake through the mountain to the entrance of the ride you lose track of how far you’ve gone and ultimately how large this building is until you see the picture of the Na’vi riding the Banshee below and realize this space is massive.
The other details are great and the Avatar in the lab is amazing (when he is there he went missing for a bit). But when you enter this space? You realize how large the ride is and how the real Disney magic is deceiving you on your perception of space and time.
