Elvis Presley was born on January 8, 1935. The Elvis Sandwich was comprised of peanut butter, bananas and bacon. The Cupcake Shoppe’s flavor of the week this week honored both of these in a tribute well – fit for a king.
The cupcake was a semi-sweet banana with peanut butter icing and sprinkled with bacon bits. It was as tasty as it was visually appealing.
Not sure how long it will be a featured item but I would go and get one sooner rather than later. And yes – you can thank me for not completely filling this post with Elvis song titles. I thought about it.
