At 8% ABV and 25 IBU day eight is named after motor oil likely due to the color of this imperial stout. Unlike motor oil this has an amazing flavor that is smooth and easy to drink. It is made by Hi-wire Brewing in Asheville and is one of the best beers I’ve tried this month.

10W-40 is an imperial stout brewed with coffee from Dynamite Roasting Co., chocolate from French Broad Chocolates and vanilla.
