The Blistered Pig located on N. Salem Street in downtown Apex uses pasture-raised all-natural meats only. Which means no hormones or chemicals. The pork is a proprietary blend of pork butts and slow-cooked hams. Their philosophy is “We Only Smoke the Good Stuff.”

What we had to eat:
Smoked Chicken Wings- Slow Smoked Jumbo Wings. We tried both dry rubbed and the glazed bbq sauce. I loved the dry-rubbed. The glazed were great too but I preferred the dry rub.

Pure Pig Sandwich- It is a pulled pork sandwich served with vinegar slaw. The sammie is served with fries as well. Yum!

You could tell that the owners Steve Adams and Chef Franz Probst take great care in their food. It was a good spot to grab a bite to eat in downtown Apex. Check out the Blistered Pig Here.
