Spring Haven Farm is just a short drive from Raleigh, located in Chapel Hill. It took us 36 minutes exactly and was worth the drive. Spring Haven Farm’s philosophy is building community through agriculture.
We opted for the scheduled farm visit at 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning and it was perfect. The cost was $10 per person and Tanner was free.
You can wander around the farm and meet all of the animals. For just $1 you can buy food to feed the animals. Pro-tip-get the carrots. It was easier for Tanner to feed the animals carrots and less messy. They have horses, pigs, a donkey, goats, chickens, and cows.
We stayed for about an hour then our tiny toddler was ready to go. It was the perfect amount of time and he had fun feeding all fo the animals. If you are looking for something fun to do with your kiddos. Check out Spring Haven Farm.
