Monday night Raleigh celebrated the amazing and even somewhat improbable Final Four runs of both their men’s and women’s basketball teams. While the women’s team was almost a given to get into the tournament the men’s team had to win the ACC Championship to get in. It was great to celebrate both teams and hear them talk about what the run meant to them and the coaching staffs.
This season was special because it has been a long time for the men and both teams were fun to watch. And as much fun as it was and as special as it felt if it happens again next year it will seem every bit as great. I mean why not us – again?
