Raleigh’s Whiskey Kitchen just opened last week so of course we had to check it out. They describe themselves as one part neighborhood bar, one part southern kitchen, with a dash of wood.
The space is gorgeous. The dining room is bright, thanks to the skylight above. Make sure to check out the mural on the wall behind the bar. It is a very cool feature.
What we had to drink:
I tried out the Berried Alive. It has vodka, blueberry shrub, and ginger beer. This was a perfect drink for the hot weather we are having here in Raleigh.
What we had to eat:
We got to try the smoked fish dip. The dip has everything seasoning, pickled onion, dill and is served with bagel chips. It was the perfect appetizer to share.
The note on the menu said the full menu is coming soon once they get their act together. I can’t wait to see what the full menu will be like since the appetizer we had was great.
