After stuffing ourselves full of barbecue at Parker’s we were in need of coffee and dessert. We stopped by Treat Yo’ Self Bakery located in downtown Wilson. They are an artisanal bakery specializing in cakes, pastries, bread & desserts plus coffee, drinks, retail & events with modern-chic digs. Since we went towards the end of the day most of the bread and pastries were sold out.
We were lucky enough to get to try a slice of their fluffernutter cake which is peanut butter and marshmallow cake. It was out of this world. We also got to try a PB&J cookie which was sooooo good. We grabbed a couple of drip coffees which is from Mooresville, NC. I love that they support local. I really loved Treat Yo’ Self Bakery. This spot was really good and a perfect spot to grab a sweet treat.
