Southern Pasta Company

We got to try out the Southern Pasta Company this weekend for dinner. The folks in North Raleigh know they have a retail store off Falls of Neuse Road. They feature house-made pasta and take and bake entrees. Recently they started providing take-out from their ghost kitchen at 2161 S Wilmington Street in Raleigh. You can get takeout hot entrees Thursday- Saturday evenings. Their concept is gourmet Italian to-go. This is the perfect way to get hot, fresh pasta for dinner.

Here is what we had to eat. I ordered the chicken breast, broccoli, and peas with their homemade alfredo sauce, pappardelle pasta, and parmesan cheese.

Anthony ordered the SoPaCo. Which they describe as putting the Southern in pasta – local Brookwood farms smoked brisket with roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and onions tossed in our amazing BBQ alfredo sauce and a little Cheddar! Over our fresh penne.

Both of the dishes were great but if I am being honest, Anthony out ordered me this time. The tang of the bbq sauce was great. If you are looking for a quick easy meal on the weekend. Make sure to check out Souther Pasta Company’s Ghost Kitchen in Raleigh.
