This event was described as a pop-up goat roast bash. This has to be a mark of a good evening – right? With Chefs from all over the country providing the food, this evening was wonderful. Among the crowd was Chapel Hill’s own Andrea Reusing from the Lantern. We had a chance to ask her about what she was most excited about the festival.
Beverages were provided by Durham’s Fullsteam Brewery and cocktails were made by High Wire Distilling Company. We were also able to enjoy wines from Virginia.
The food was roasted over an open flame. We got to try goat and a delicious field pea salad.
Music was provided by a fife and drum band, Rising Star. It provided for a lively evening. This event set the tone for a great weekend of food.
