Dropped into Midwood Smokehouse again with some friends for a Friday lunch and it did not disappoint. This time I went for the Big Beef Rib special and it was huge and very well done. I know this is a far cry from traditional North Carolina BBQ or my personal favorite Lexington-style BBQ but it does stand on it own and is a really nice change of pace.
Not to mention someone in our house really enjoys the leftovers. Trooper couldn’t be happier with this lunch decision. If you haven’t been Smoky Hollow is relatively easy to get in and out of and Midwood Smokehouse is worth the visit. If you have time you may even want to swing by New Anthem and pick up a beverage or two for the evening.
