Last weekend we attended the New Belgium’s Lost in the Wood event. We were able to sample some of their beers. They were paired with the delicious food from the Busy Bee. Here is the lineup.
- La Folie is a sour brown ale that is part of the Lips of Faith series. This beer is aged in oak barrels for 1 to 3 years. They say that the beer will “turn your tongue on its head” and I would totally agree with this description.
- Citradelic is a tangerine IPA. This beer is brewed with citra hops and tangerine. I absolutely love this beer. This is the perfect refreshing flavor and I think it will be a great spring time favorite.
- Transatlantique Kriek is called this because it is a transatlantic collaboration. It is described as having a “wonderful funky tartness”. It is a combination of three beers- a golden loager, a sour ale and a Kreik shipped from Oud Beersel.
If you want to check out some of these new beers make sure to head to the Busy Bee. Or find a beer of choice using the New Belgium website.
