Little Blue Bakehouse is now officially open. Raleigh’s newest bakery and coffee house is located on New Bern Avenue next to the Alamo Drafthouse. This is such a great little spot to get a sweet treat and coffee.
If you know us you know we have an ice cream problem so we opted for the Bold Batch Creamery. Their philosophy is life’s too short for boring ice cream. They had so many good-sounding flavors so it was hard to pick what to try. We opted for an ice cream flight which is 4 scoops of ice cream.
We tried Peaches & Cream, Chocolate Pie, Oreo Borealis, and Strawberry Shortcake. All the flavors were great. You could tell they had fresh ingredients. My favorite by far was the chocolate pie which has chunks of buttery chocolate cookies. It was amazing.
