This year’s pumpkin was larger than last year’s and orange. Different challenge but still fun.
I carved this one similar to last year with a few small changes. The pictures below are the “making of” this year’s beast.
My goal was to make the pumpkin look more like a mask having the eyelids and eyes more defined than last year. I only did a top row of teeth and decided to make them more straight than sharp. No real reason – just something different. Maybe next year I will try carving more of a nose – something I avoided completely last year and only did holes for this time.
Anyway – that’s my pumpkin and I’m sticking it on the front porch tomorrow. Come by and see it and I might give you some candy.
