The Culinary Village is the heart of the Charleston Wine and Food Festival. It is located in Marion Square. The celebration lasts 3 days and has many fun things to check out. There are samples to try, authors to meet and beverages to enjoy aplenty. There are demonstrations, book signings entertainment and more.
This year we were able to check out Lionel Vatinet from La Farm in Cary, NC at his hands-on baking class. This is always a festival favorite. The key takeaway from this class is don’t pinch the dough!
We got to check out some great NC Beers. We were able to try Unknown’s ginger beer which was nice.
We tried some great ice cream from cirsea. This ice cream is made by hand in small batches right here in Charleston. I loved the bourbon caramel.
The festival is such a fun atmosphere and it was the perfect day to enjoy food and drinks.
