I grabbed a Ronto Wrap for the first time at Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (Hollywood Studios) and I’d absolutely eat it again. It’s basically comfort food with a twist: roasted pork + a grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and a tangy slaw, all tucked into warm pita—way more interesting (and tastier) than a standard hot dog.
What I liked most: the crunchy slaw against the rich meats and the soft pita/naan-style bread that holds everything together without falling apart. Easy to eat while wandering Batuu.
A little Star Wars lore (why it “fits”)
“Rontos” are massive, gentle pack animals from Tatooine—you’ll spot them in Star Wars canon—so the stand’s name is a playful nod to in-universe food culture. The open grill is “powered” by a salvaged podracer engine with a pit-droid turning the spit—pure Galaxy’s Edge theming and a fun detail to watch while you wait.
Quick bite notes
Where: Ronto Roasters, Black Spire Outpost, Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Walt Disney World
What’s inside: Roasted pork, pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, tangy slaw, warm pita.
Walt Disney World
Why it works: Texture + flavor contrast (cool slaw, creamy sauce, smokiness), handheld, and super photogenic.
If you’re planning a lap through Batuu and want something quick that still feels themed, this is the move. I’ll be back for another—maybe the morning wrap next time.
