Ever wonder how “big” the internet is? How many users, websites, or even emails are sent in a day? This website is counting and it is one of the coolest things I’ve seen. The numbers are staggering and the 1-second page will count how many posts have happened from the time you enter the page. From 10,160 Tweets a second to 97,323 YouTube videos being viewed in that same second the internet is both creating and consuming content at an unbelievable rate. Emails? 3,180,972 per second. And from the looks of it – a lot of them spam.
Just something to think about whether you are a content creator or a content consumer. There is a lot out there and more every second.
