I recently built the Millennium Flamingo, a creative alt-build designed by CreationCaravan (Brad Barber) using the pieces from the official LEGO® set Wild Animals – Pink Flamingo, Cockatoo, or Axolotl 31170.
This build was such a fun project! The instructions were easy to follow on Rebrickable, and the design itself is both quirky and clever. I loved seeing how the familiar flamingo set could transform into something completely different while still keeping that playful vibe.
It’s always exciting when an alt-build surprises you with how much personality it has—and this one definitely does. If you have the Flamingo Creator 3-in-1 set, I highly recommend giving this alt-build a try. It’s a great way to get even more fun out of a set you already own.
The alternate plans from ReBrickable cost $4 but they are well written, easy to follow, and most importantly worth it. The Creator sets are a good brick to dollar value and making them into a “Star Wars” set? Even better.
